Following the ever-popular Nike We Run Series hosted by the Nike + Run Club, We Run DXB is back with a bang this year. The epic 10k race returns to the sunny Emirate on the 13th of November and the 2015 circuit will take place in the scenic Downtown Dubai area, featuring a backdrop of the iconic Burj Khalifa. This year’s event is expected to reel in up to 15,000 runners — a huge leap from the 8,000 athletes that took part last year and as always, the event is open to people from all walks of life and all levels of fitness. The series is all about encouragement and celebrating a running culture on a global scale, motivating runners to achieve their personal best.
About the race
Nike Middle East is hosting Dubai’s third We Run DXB event as part of the brand’s We Run Global Series, which will span 18 cities across Europe, Latin America and Asia. Ranging from 7km to the full 42km, the race has attracted more than 140,000 runners worldwide and continues to encourage people to get outside and get active.
Where to register?
You can reserve your spot in the Nike We Run DXB race by applying online at www.nike.com/werundubai via mobile or desktop. Tickets cost AED 100 and participants must be 16 years of age or older; anyone below 21 will be required to submit a Parental Waiver form along with their application. This can be submitted at The Dubai Mall Sun & Sand Sports store or one of the following Nike stores: Mall of the Emirates, Festival City, Al Wasl/BoxPark in Dubai and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. Registration payment will be taken along with the waiver form and participants will be able to pick up their race packs at their chosen store. Registration closes on 31st October 2015, or when the event’s capacity is maxed out.
