The Art of Balancing Work and Working Out

Well, in this fast-paced world, running to catch – up with everything, we sometimes forget to take a deep breath and think – How’d we run if we aren’t fit mentally and PHYSICALLY?

Often times, many of us come home tired and exhausted from a long 10 hour day outside and by the time we end up making our mind if it’s time to workout, it’s either slacking or slouching.

That’s where the PUSH comes in. We’ve all heard of the 21-Day Rule but that can only be possible when you start with Day 1.

No matter how busy your schedule is, fix up a time either in the morning or in the evening for a minimum of 45 minutes, 5-6 days a week to exercise- be it at home, on the road or at the gym, to pump up your heart rate and give your body the adrenaline it deserves. For a lot of us, we want to see results from the very first day but hold on, give it some time and see what change it brings to your body, mind and soul over a period of time.

Here are a few tips to help you master the art of working and working out:

Have the right Mindset and Habits

Exercising has to start with the right mindset. Have a positive outlook and try making it a part of your routine just like you eat food. Whilst you are watching videos or simply just waiting for your food to cook, do some squats and some jacks. Take the stairs. Avoid junk and sugar. It’s the little things.  If you’re getting started after the pandemic, here are some tips you can consider.

Schedule and Plan Ahead

We all know our lives run-on last-minute changes and running around. Try sticking to a schedule as much as you can and if you messed up, that’s all right. Look for alternative sources of working out such as just going for a long walk or even doing an HIIT for 15 minutes.

Follow a Workout Plan

Most of us find it hard to start from the scratch and with the amount of videos and plans, it does get quite overwhelming to start somewhere. There are multiple fitness enthusiasts that you can follow to get you started on your journey.

Get the Correct Vitamins and Supplements

During a workout, you end up losing muscle mass. Having the right vitamins help you retain energy and boosts your work out by helping your body produce important proteins. It also fortifies your immune system and aids in building muscle tissue.

Feel Confident in your Own Skin

We feel good when we look good. Having the right attire is a must. The right workout fit does not only help you in feeling confident but also aids you in having a comfortable session.
So, get set and be prepped for your new challenge.
