5 Simple Ways To Boost Your Fitness

It’s no secret that staying active every day goes a long way to boosting your health and fitness. Movement is a key factor, along with diet, sleep and a calm mind – maintaining a balanced and healthy body and mind. But with our fast-paced lives, social commitments and family responsibilities, squeezing time in to hit the gym every day can be daunting. It isn’t really that difficult though. Fit in a minute here, another there, and you’ll soon realise that staying active doesn’t need to be so challenging. Here are a few ways you can do that easily day to day.

 

Take the stairs

This first one is a no-brainer. Take the stairs instead of the elevator or the escalator whenever you can. If you have to climb two floors or less, take the stairs. Same if you need to go down three floors or less. By doing so, you not only burn off a few extra calories but also build up some leg muscle strength.
