The World Cup is Now!

The day has finally arrived! The biggest competition of the year is here and we couldn’t be any more excited. Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Brazil Portugal, Spain, England, and so many more! Support your team this World Cup and watch the giants of football take on each other in the beautiful game through skill, talent, aggression, tactics and all out dominance where the winner takes all – the FIFA World Cup 2018 trophy.

In our previous post we discussed the players to look out for – this time we’ll be taking a quick look at the teams.

BRAZIL

With a squad filled with young and fresh star players such as Neymar, Coutinho, Marcelo, Jesus, Firmino and more, the Brazil squad is looking to be one of the biggest contenders at this year’s World Cup 2018 tournament.

SPAIN

This team has tremendous depth in their squad from players such as David Silva, Sergio Ramos, David de Gea, Isco, Iniesta and many, many more. And while depth in a team is important, this team also boasts technical brilliance that gives them an ace up their sleeves.

GERMANY

Always a threat and their 7 – 1 battering of Brazil in the 2014 World Cup Semi-Finals still leaves some Brazil fans with tears in their eyes. A team that has continued to improve since their impressive, dominant display in the previous World Cup, this team shouldn’t be counted out from the winner talks.

FRANCE

The Frenchmen just cannot be ruled out either, with talented players such as Pogba, Griezmann, Mbappe, Kante, Dembele, and many more. All that this impressive ensemble of players needs is to click together as a team and they will be unstoppable.

BELGIUM

Boasting one of the strongest squads ever with the likes of Kevin DeBruyne, Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois and Vincent Kompany headlining, the team of Red Devils will be entering the tournament with no holds barred. It’s going to be very difficult to break this team.

ENGLAND

After their shambolic defeat to Iceland in the 2016 Euros, England will be looking to bounce back on international fronts and that is something they truly can achieve. Boasting some of the fastest players from attack to defence, England has pace on its side and only needs coordination to finally win the world cup after 52 years without a trophy.
