The Timberland Fall/Winter 2015 Fashion Show kicked off at Dubai’s Stereo Arcade at the Double Tree Hilton yesterday and it was certainly a night to remember, reeling in a crowd of fashionistas, models and local influencers to celebrate the launch of the new-season collection. Kicking the night off were the acoustic sounds of singer Stephon Lamar, as the trendy crowd descended on the Stereo Arcade venue. Featuring a customise-your-own Timberland t-shirt station, the event called on the creativity of the crowd to have some fun with the DIY workshop as people put their personal stamp on their t-shirt designs. As the trail continued, the crowd moved on to the second stage of the event — the Timberland Fashion Show, which took place at Tribeca, and was decked out in urban styling for the perfect indoor take on an outdoor brand.
Timberland’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection incorporates a variety of styles and colour schemes for the modern outdoor persona. The featured ‘Black Forest’ collection takes the monochrome style found in the deepest depths of the forest, to the streets of the UAE in a range of simple blacks, whites and subtly moody shades of grey. The collection features a polished charcoal-styled makeover to the brand’s previously rugged profiles, for a modern revamp on a timeless style. The Timberland ‘Winter Wool’ collection sees the brand team up with iconic brands, Harris Tweed® and Pendleton® for a range of designs that feature signature accents for that added touch of intricacy and authenticity.
The sleek urban collection includes the iconic 6” buttery-smooth leather boots and heavy-duty backpacks in Timberland’s wardrobe staples, as well as the essential long-sleeved t-shirt and classic Oxford shirt, not to mention the edgier winter essentials, including corduroy pants and duffle coats — all befitting a trek up the mountains, a camping trip, or a night out with friends, for your very own modern trail experience.
