Every November, Dubai transforms into a citywide celebration of movement with the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), a month that encourages everyone to move for 30 minutes a day for 30 days.
For runners, it’s the perfect time to set new goals, join community runs, and explore the city’s most scenic routes. Whether you’re taking on your first 5 km or pushing for a half marathon, DFC 2025 offers events for every level, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

Dubai Run (23rd November)
Returning to Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Run is the flagship event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge and is free for all participants. Choose between the 5 km and 10 km routes that pass landmarks such as the Museum of the Future and Burj Khalifa, surrounded by thousands of fellow runners.
The Music Run (15th November)
Experience one of Dubai’s most exciting fitness parties at Meydan Racecourse. Take on a 5 km speaker-lined route with live DJs, music zones, and a festival-style finish line that turns every stride into a celebration.

A fun, spooky run at City Walk Dubai, ideal for families and beginners. Take on the 2.5 km or 5 km routes filled with Halloween-themed sights, costumes, and lively energy.

Take part in this flat, traffic-free 8 km route through the Jumeirah Lakes Towers community. Ideal for mid-level runners looking for a smooth, urban course.

Public Prosecution Run (15th November)
Stay active and run for a cause with the Public Prosecution Run, featuring a 5 km sprint and a 1 km kids’ race. Runners over 16 can compete for AED 18,000 in prizes, while participants under 15 can aim for AED 12,000, with a total of AED 30,000 in rewards.

Making its debut in the UAE, this 12-hour trail race takes place in Hatta and is inspired by ultramarathons like the Backyard Ultra, truly testing your endurance. Runners tackle as many 7.4 km loops as possible within 12 hours, conquering 285 m of elevation gain and loss with every round.
