What started as a passion for sport evolved into a career, and now a mission for FIFA-accredited coach Omar Al Duri. After professionally coaching in the UK, Omar moved to the UAE to train footballers and mobilise the local community towards a healthier lifestyle.

Today, he helps athletes find their football footing and better take care of their bodies. The Sun & Sand Sports ambassador has worked as a physical trainer for the Ghana Football Association for the Under-20s in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal, and for the U20 World Cup in New Zealand. His expert advice for young, aspiring footballers in the region is simple – to work hard. “Stick to the plan and try to stay on your track, not to compare yourself to anyone else,” he says.
